Charlene Chausis is employed as the Creativity and Innovation Specialist for Mobile Pedagogy at Aptakisic-Tripp District 102 in Buffalo Grove, IL, and supports the teachers and students participating in the 1:1 iPad Program as part of the District's Personal Technology Initiative at Aptakisic Junior High School.

 

For more than 16 years Charlene served as the Technology Training and Integration Manager at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL. She is a frequent presenter at national, state and local education conferences, and serves on the Illinois Computing Educators and Northern Illinois Computing Educators (NICE) executive boards.

 

Charlene works to help educators discover how technology can be used to amplify students' creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills. She also has a keen interest in the future of digital publishing, and has provided presentations, workshops and seminars on techniques for creating digital publications. She blogs occasionally at the Future of the Book and Educating Educators.
